With only eight days until the U.S. presidential election, polls show an extremely close race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris has a slight edge in some national polls, but the margin is within the error range, reflecting an effective tie. Both candidates are focused on key swing states, where results remain similarly tight and could ultimately determine the winner. Trump is campaigning heavily in Pennsylvania, while Harris is focusing on Michigan and Pennsylvania, aiming to energize undecided voters in these critical areas

According to FiveThirtyEight, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris holds a narrow 1.4-point lead nationally over Republican candidate Donald Trump. Harris is scheduled to rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan, alongside her running mate, Tim Walz, on Monday evening. Trump, meanwhile, will attend a Christian event in Georgia and hold a rally in Atlanta. Controversy continues around Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden, where clips of speakers making disparaging remarks about Puerto Ricans and Palestinians have gone viral.
